Purpose: The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for the staffing firm. This includes developing and implementing sales strategies, building relationships with key clients, and leveraging industry expertise to grow the company’s revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and targeting new business opportunities within specific industries or markets
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to acquire new clients and retain existing ones
- Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Leveraging industry expertise and knowledge to understand clients’ needs and provide tailored solutions
- Collaborating with the recruitment team to ensure that client needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals
- Negotiating contracts and closing deals
- Keeping accurate and detailed records of all sales activities and client communications
- Attending industry events and networking opportunities to expand the company’s reach and grow its client base
- Meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals set by the company
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, ideally within a staffing firm or similar environment
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of the sales process
- Strong knowledge of the staffing industry and the latest trends and developments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Familiarity with various industries is a plus
